US seeking to sabotage Iran-P5+1 talks, Iranian Parliament speaker says
Iranian Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani says Washington is seeking to sabotage the talks between Iran and the P5+1 group when US officials should be making efforts to ensure the negotiations make progress.


In an exclusive interview with the Arabic-language news network Al-Alam on Tuesday, Larijani said the United States is making efforts to create obstacles for the talks between Iran and the P5+1 group (Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States, and Germany) in order to prevent the negotiations from bearing fruit.

Cabinet approves Pak-Iran gas pipeline
The Federal Cabinet has given final approval to the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project, rejecting any pressure regarding the project.

According to sources, the Federal Cabinet was informed that the construction of the Pak-Iran gas pipeline will be completed by January 2015 and Iran will give Pakistan $500 million at two different phases for the completion of the plan.

 
Iran to launch Zafar satellite in eight months
The president of Irans University of Science and Technology says the Islamic Republic plans to send its domestically-produced satellite Zafar (Triumph) into space within the next eight months.


Saeed Jabal-Ameli told reporters on Wednesday that the satellite would be launched into space by the summer of the Iranian year 1392 (September 2013).

 
Backing terrorist groups escalates Syria crisis: Iran
A senior Iranian official said Wednesday that those backing terrorist groups are responsible for the fighting and killings in Syria, as he repeated Tehrans support of the Syrian regime.

Iranbelieves that the cause of the Syrian crisis is the sending of arms to terrorist groups intoSyriaby some countries, Amir Hussein Abdullahian, the Iranian foreign ministrys undersecretary for Arab and African affairs, told a press conference in Kuwait.
