Mehr news agency quoted Al-Alam as saying, Syrian rebels freed 48 Iranians held captive since August. They will be returned to country soon, Iranian embassy in Damascus said. Syrian government will release 2130 prisoners including a number of Turkish national prisoners in return.
Bushehr power plant begins operation

Iran to produce The General Staff in response to Argo
Irans Art Bureau plans to produce a movie to respond to Argo, the Warner Bros. drama about the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran. The movie named The General Staff is about the 20 American hostages who were delivered to the United States by the revolutionaries, director Ataollah Salmanian said on Tuesday.
