Oscar winning composer Stephen Warbeck to come to Tehran

The Academy Award winning English composer Stephen Warbeck is slated to hold workshop on the sidelines of Irans 2014 Fajr International Film Festival.

Warbeck won fame when his music appeared in 1995 TV moviePrime Suspect. He received Oscar award for his creation in John Maddens blockbuster filmShakespeare in Lovein 1998.

Warbeck also contributed to Iranian filmmaker Ahmad Reza Darvishs religious dramaHe Who Said No.

In recent years Stephen has written scores for more than forty television plays or films.

Italian cinematographer Vittorio Storaro will also attend the years festival to hold a workshop.

Vittorio Storaro is also the award winning cinematographer who won Oscars forApocalypse Now,RedsandThe Last Emperor.

This year's edition of Irans most important film presentation and competition festival - the International Fajr Film Festival- has kicked off in the countrys capital of Tehran on February 1 and will run until February11, 2014.
