Irans Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Bruneian counterpart Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof have held talks on issues of mutual interests.
On the sidelines of the 77 UN General Assembly in New York, the Iranian and Bruneian top diplomats met on Monday and discussed the development of mutual relationship as well as regional and international developments.
Amirabdollahian called for Bruneian high-ranking officials visit to Iran, adding that the Islamic Republic welcomes the expansion of mutual ties with the Southeast Asian country.
The Iranian minister of foreign affairs also appreciated Bruneis positive stance in international associations and organizations.
For his part, the Bruneian FM welcomed the idea of expanding collaborations at different levels, expressing hope that the increase of meetings and the exchange of delegations will boost cooperation, particularly in international occasions.
Erywan Pehin Yusof further condemned crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Palestine, supporting cooperation with Islamic nations, including Iran, on the Palestinian cause.
