IRNA � Iran is among top five producers of destroyers and vessels in the world and Fateh submarine will join the Navy�s fleet soon, said deputy minister of defense and logistics.

Addressing daylong conference themed �Explaining Doctrine of Resistance in University of Tabriz� on Tuesday, Brigadier General Amir Rastegari added that today, Defense Ministry is capable of producing a plethora of military equipment.

Rastegari, also head of Iran�s Sea Industries Organization, said, �It is an honor for the armed forces that all defense equipment are produced inside the country.�

Today, all doctrines and policies are focused on promoting capabilities in the defense sector, he said.

�We have reached self-sufficiency in producing all types of destroyers and flying and radar-evading boats,� he said, noting that Defense Ministry is after innovation in promoting the country�s industrial and scientific capabilities.
