Iran denies flying drone over Bahrain
Tehran on Thursday denied a Bahraini claim it had found an Iranian drone in the sea near Saudi Arabia, and urged Manama to refrain from making baseless accusations, the ISNA news agency reported. It cited an unnamed foreign ministry source as denying Bahrains assertion that the downed aircraft was Iranian.

 
US, Britain responsible for killing of Syrians: Iran official
A senior Iranian official says the United States and Britain are to blame for the killing of the people in Syria, adding that the two Western governments have committed many strategic mistakes in the Arab country. The United States and Britain have made numerous strategic mistakes in the region, including in Syria, and are considered responsible for the killing of the Syrian people, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Wednesday.

 
Iran resolved to maintain cooperation with IAEA: Soltanieh
The Iranian ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reiterated the peaceful nature of the countrys nuclear energy program, saying that Tehran is determined to continue its cooperation with the IAEA. After 10 years of the most robust inspection in the history of the IAEA, no evidence of diversion of nuclear material or nuclear activities to the prohibited purposes have been found and everything remains peaceful, Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh told Press TV in an exclusive interview on Wednesday.

 
Barred from election, Rafsanjani lambasts Iranian authorities report
Former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani sharply criticized the countrys leadership, opposition website Kaleme said on Thursday, two days after he was disqualified from running in next months presidential election. I dont think the country could have been run worse, even if it had been planned in advance, Rafsanjani reportedly told members of his campaign team on Wednesday, the well respected website reported.
