Sputnik- The Iranian parliament on Tuesday voted for ratification of an agreement on customs cooperation between Iran and Russia, local TV reported.

TEHRAN (Sputnik)�� According to�reports, 142 parliamentarians voted for�the agreement, while five lawmakers voted against�the deal and five others abstained. The details of�the agreement, which consists of�20 clauses, have not been revealed yet.

In March, Russia's Federal Customs Service said that it was working on�simplification of�customs procedures with�a number of�countries, in�particular with�Iran and Syria. The trade turnover between�Russia and Iran currently amounted to�700-800 million dollars. Russia exports grain, wood and metal, while Iran supplies its counterpart with�fresh fruits and vegetables.
