Speaking to a reporter on Monday, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Logistics Brigadier General Mostafa Izadisaid current crisis in Iraq is supported by the US and UK imperialism.
Referring to the Iraqi crisis, Brigadier General Mostafa Izadistressed that America and Britain try to benefit from the protests to achieve their goals.
Izadiadded that different factions in Iraq seek to bring favorable conditions for themselves.
Iraq has been the scene of a political turmoil in the past weeks over the efforts of Iraqi Prime MinisterHaider al-Abadi to form a new cabinet.

So the postponement triggered the protests which were organized by Iraqi Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadrs supporters.
Then, a state of emergency was declared in Baghdad on April 30 after the demonstrators stormed Baghdads Green Zone and entered the parliamentary building.
