TEHRAN April 15(Shana)--An Omani delegation is expected to travel to Tehran next week to discuss a planned gas pipeline project with Iranian officials, the head of National Iranian Gas Exports Company (NIGEC) said.

�With the presence of Omani delegation, the Iranian consultant for basic engineering studies and offshore issues of Iran�s gas exports will be chosen,� Ali-Reza Kameli said.
He said that a 200-kilometer pipeline is to be laid out from Mountain Mobarak to Sahar Port in Oman.

In 2013, Iran agreed to supply 28 mcm/d of gas to Oman through a subsea pipeline for a period of 15 years.
