Iran�s Supreme Audit Court dismisses Central Bank governor
According to Mehr News Agency, Iran's Supreme Audit Court has voted to dismiss Central Bank governor Mahmoud Bahmani on charge of illegal draw out of money from the banking system last year.

 


Official: Iranian opposition leaders are still kept under house arrest
The Judiciary Spokesman Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei announced that Iranian Green Movement leader Mehdi Karroubi and Mir-Hossein Mousaviare still being kept under house arrest. �There has been no change in their situation," he added, Mehr reported.

 


�Iran's economy minister: Increase of fuel price is rumor
Iran�s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Shamseddin Hosseini said on Monday that, �increasing price of fuel is just a rumor.� He added that rates for each liter of gasoline announced by some media in the last few days is not true, IRNA said.

 


Iran to launch comprehensive space observatory
Iran will unveil a comprehensive space observatory named "Imam Sadiq" during the Fajr festival, Fars quoted Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi as saying. He noted that in Feb. 2012 Iran plans to establish a test area for space engines. The area is to be constructed by country's scientists, and is going to be put into operation next year.
