TEHRAN May 31 (Shana)--A single-point-mooring (SPM) is to be installed in Phase 12 of the giant offshore South Pars gas field in weeks to handle 320,000-ton very large crude carriers.
�Managing-Director of Petropars Company Mohammad-Javad Shams said 5,000 cubic meters per hour of products are lifted for exports on this SPM.



He said Petropars is operating five drilling rigs in South Pars, 4 of which in Phase 12 and one in Phase 13.
Shams said Phase 12 is currently producing 12 mcm/d of gas, adding that the output will reach 25 mcm/d when the second train of the phase is launched within weeks.
He said that Phase 12 will be producing 50 mcm/d of gas by December.
