Algeria, May 29, IRNA - Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Thursday that the upcoming visit of the Kuwaiti Emire to Tehran would open a new chapter in bilateral ties and pave the way for further expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah on the sidelines of the 17th Non-Aligned Movement Conference in Algeria.
In the meeting, the two ministers exchanged views on various issues such as promotion of mutual relations and cooperation as well as regional and global developments.
Zarif also conferred with his Spanish, Lebanese, Egyptian, Venezuelan and Ethiopian counterparts on regional and global developments.
