Iran, Ivory Coast ministers review Iranian investment projects
Tehran, May 27, IRNA Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi and Ivory Coast Minister of Transportation Gaoussou Toure on Tuesday discussed Iranian companies? investment in the African country.
According to IRNA economic news service, Ivory Coast minister expressed his country?s willingness for Iranian firms? partnership in the road and railway projects.
He proposed investment in the form of BOT in developmental projects, contending that his country will not interfere in financing of projects in investment and it will only issue necessary permissions.

The minister said that the project to set up 3,000 residential units has not yet been implemented by an Iranian company.

Expressing pleasure with his visit to Tehran, he said that he is ready to hold talks with Iran in the field of road construction.

Akhoundi, for his part, said Iranian firms are well-prepared to undertake road construction and housing projects.

He voiced Iran?s readiness to hold joint Iran-Ivory Coast economic cooperation commission, saying that he will raise the matter at the meeting of joint economic commission.
