Tehran, May 21, IRNA � An earthquake measuring 4.5 on Richter scale shook suburbs of Rig coastal region in southern province of Bushehr Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report by seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 14:16 hours local time (10:46 hours GMT) with its epicenter being at 29.60 degrees latitude and 50.83 degrees longitude.


There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
