Ahvaz, Khuzestan Prov, May 17, IRNA � Prosecutor of the provincial city of Khorramshar Ali-Reza Bavi survived an assassination attempt in this southwestern provincial city Saturday morning.

Bavi was shot in the head and face by two unknown gunmen while he was driving to his office.


The assailants targeted him with a hunting rifle. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Ahvaz.

According to reports, Bavi is in good health conditions.
