Tehran, May 10, IRNA - The 60th conference of the CIS Council of Railway Transportation kicked off in Kazakhstan, with the CEO of Iran Railways being present.
Iranian official Mohsen Poor Seyyed Aghaei met with his Russian and Azerbaijani counterparts and discussed issues of mutual interest including cooperation in the field of railway transportation and implementation of the Rasht-Astara railway project.
In a separate meeting, Poor Seyyed Aghaei and Vladimir Yakunin, his Russian counterpart agreed to form a joint working group to obtain necessary licences for finalization of Iran-Russia railway deal.
