Tehran, April 14, IRNA � Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Police Affairs Ali Abdollahi and Qatar?s Director-General of Public Security Staff, Major General Saad Bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, in a meeting in Doha on Monday discussed implementation of Iran-Qatar security agreement.
Ali Abdollahi arrived in Doha earlier in the day to attend the first session of Iran-Qatar security cooperation committee.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed border and maritime cooperation, joint efforts to fight terrorism, campaign against organized crimes, money laundering, drug-trafficking and smuggling cultural and historical heritage, Iranian embassy in Qatar said.

They also called for further contact between the coast guards and police of the two countries.

Iran and Qatar signed a security cooperation agreement in 2010.
