TEHRAN, Apr, 5 (MNA) On the 1st day of 2014 IPC Powerlifting World Championships, Iranian athlete has won a gold medal.Mehr News quoted Islamic Republic of Irans Sport Federation for the Disabled that Mohsen Bakhtiar won a gold medal routing all his rivals.
This is the 1st gold medal for the Iranian delegation to the competitions and other Iranian athletes will compete their rivals on the coming days.
Iranian delegation with a total of 13 athletes left for Dubai on April 3 to participate in the latest stop for athletes on their road to Rio 2016.
The competition is held from April 5-11, 2014 in the United Arab Emirates for the disabled.
