Tehran, March 29, IRNA � Azerbaijan?s President Ilham Aliev is to visit Iran in April, Iran?s Ambassador to Baku Mohsen Pakaeen said.

He said the visit is to take place late April upon the invitation of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

He also noted that the two countries? joint economic commission will be held one month after the visit.

Pointing to many commonalties shared by the two countries, the ambassador stressed that bolstering ties between the two sides? border cities is a priority of Iran?s Embassy in Baku.
