Ardebil, March 15, IRNA � An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the city of Ardebil in northwestern country Saturday morning.
Based on a report by the Tehran University Geophysics center, the quake occurred at 05:50 hours local time (0220 GMT).

The epicenter of the quake was registered in Liman in the Republic of Azerbaijan but it was clearly felt in the Iranian border province.

There were no reports of any damage or casualty by the quake.
