Tehran, March 9, IRNA European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton and her accompanying delegation have gone to to Isfahan, to visit Iran?s capital of art.
Ashton, who arrived in Tehran on Saturday at the invitation of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, had separate meetings with senior Iranian officials on Sunday.
The British Baroness, who is in Tehran to promote ties between Tehran and the EU, met with Zarif on Sunday and then participated in a joint press conference with him.
She separately met with President Hassan Rouhani, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Representative of the Supreme Leader in Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili, Secretary of SNSC Ali Shamkhani and Head of Strategic Research Center of Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati.
Isfahan has three world registered sites in addition to hundreds of other historical places.
These works are masterpieces and the city is a tourist attraction.
