Europe’s attitude to Iran has changed: Majlis Speaker

Tehran, March 6, IRNA – Certain European countries which thought they could bring Iran to its knees through pressure have changed their views, said Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Thursday.
Larijani who is on a visit to South Africa made the remarks at a press conference after a meeting with South African President Jacob Zuma.

On the tragic crisis in Syria, Larijani said that Tehran and Pretoria both believe that Syria conflict could only be resolved through national dialogue.

On Iran’s nuclear talks with the West, Larijani said that negotiations between Iran and the six nations are underway and South Africa have voiced support for Iran’s right to enrichment which is enshrined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
