Tehran, March 3, IRNA Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif will pay a visit to Japan and Indonesia from March 4 to 7 at the invitation of his Japanese and Indonesian counterparts.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Spokeswoman of Foreign Ministry Marzeiyeh Afkham said that Zarif?s visit to Japan takes place in direction of development of bilateral ties and he will meet with his counterpart as well as some other senior officials of Japan.
Afkham continued that Zarif will also pay a visit to Indonesia on March 6 and 7 at the invitation of Indonesian Foreign Minister Mohammad Marty Natalegawa.
Zarif will also meet with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Issues related to bilateral ties in political, economic, and cultural fields as well as important regional and international developments are among issues to be discussed in meetings of Zarif with officials from Japan and Indonesia.
