Tehran, March 2, IRNA - South Korean ambassador to Tehran Sung Wung Yeub said on Sunday that a six-member parliamentary delegation are to visit Tehran soon.
He made the remarks in a meeting with vice-chairman of Majlis Commission on Legal and Judicial Affairs Hamid-Reza Tabatabaei.
The South Korean parliamentary delegation is to confer with Iranian officials mainly Majlis representatives on ways to expand parliamentary cooperaiton between the two countries.
The ambassador said that South Korean government is willing to develop economic cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hamid-Reza Tabatabaei, for his part, highlighted the significant role of the parliaments to enhance level of friendly relations between the two countries and said the Iranian Majlis is to make use of expereince of the South Korean parliament about procedure of legislation.
Exchange of views between the two parliaments bring the two nations much closer, he said, adding that parliamentary ties play significant role to bring about mutual undrestanding between the state organiztaions and the private sector from the two countries.
Iranian Majlis welcome exchange of parlilamentary delegations between the two countries, he said.
