MP urges Lebanese government to follow up fate of Iranian diplomats
Beirut, Feb 28, IRNA Head of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in Majlis said he has discussed fate of four kidnapped Iranian diplomats in Lebanon as well as Imam Mussa Sadr with Lebanese senior officials.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi, who is visiting Lebanon, heading an Iranian parliamentary delegation, discussed issues of mutual interest with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berry on Friday.

In the meeting, Irans Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi as well as members of the delegation were present, too.

After the meeting, Boroujerdi told reporters that he has presented a report on Irans support for Lebanese government and nation as well as the latest developments in Syria war to Mr. Berry.

He stressed that there is the same viewpoint between Iranian and Lebanese senior officials that Syrian crisis has just a political solution.

Boroujerdi also condemned the recent attack of the Zionist regime against Lebanon territory.

The Iranian MP also appreciated efforts of Lebanese security and military officials to confront with terrorists and said it is expected these efforts to continue in the future.

Boroujerdi had already conferred with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, Premier Tammam Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.

Iranian parliamentary delegation arrived in Lebanon on Thursday morning to meet with Lebanese senior officials.
