Tehran, Feb 26, IRNA � Iran is prepared to expand relations with Iraq in various fields, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday.

He made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.


?Tehran is ready for development of ties with Iraq in all fields particularly in fields of industry, economy and technology.?

The Iranian Parliament speaker called the two countries? relations as historic and based on cultural commonalties.

?All Iraqi political factions should be united against terrorism and sectarian violence in order to restore sustainable peace there.?

The Iraqi foreign minister, for his part, welcomed expansion of ties between Tehran and Baghdad.

Zebari noted that Syrian crisis should be resolved with the help of regional countries and through national dialogue among Syrians.

He warned against the spread of Syrian crisis to other parts of the region.
