Shiraz, Fars prov, Feb 26, IRNA � Two Police forces were killed by bandits in the southern province of Fars Tuesday evening.
They were killed in an armed clash with the bandits near the town of Kharameh, 40 kms southeast of the provincial capital, Shiraz.

Three of the bandits who belonged to a narcotics trafficking gang were also killed during the clashes.

According to the provincial police commander Brigadier General Sirous Sajjadian, four tons of narcotics were seized from the smugglers.

He said search is going on for spotting other members of the gang.
