Iran exported over USD 37 billion worth of non-oil commodities in the first eleven months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21, 2013) despite the US-led sanctions against the country.
According to the latest data released by the Iranian Customs Administration, Iran exported USD 37.363 billion worth of non-petroleum goods during the period, marking a 15.73-percent rise in terms of weight over the previous year.
The non-oil exports weighed 83.293 million tons.
Gas condensates and petrochemical products respectively accounted for USD 9.479 billion and USD 9.855 of the countrys overall non-oil exports.
Iron ore, liquefied propane and pitch were Irans other export items respectively valued at 1.285 billion, 1.122 billion and 1.6 billion dollars respectively.
China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, India and Afghanistan were among the main target markets for the Iranian goods.
Iran exported over USD 29 billion worth of non-oil commodities in the first nine months of the current Iranian year, registering an 11.8-percent rise in weight, year on year.
