TEHRAN (ISNA)- Pakistani ambassador to Iran reiterated that his country complies with its commitments on Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, rejecting rumors that Pakistan is not willing to continue cooperation on the project.
"Pakistani governments has obliged to accomplish the project," Noor Mohammad Jadmanitold ISNA.
"We are still obliged to complete the project. Despite what is released by foreign media on the gas pipeline. Although Pakistani government is facing problems, but we are seeking advancement of the project," he said.
He further added that the two countries are willing to press ahead with accomplishment of the plan.
The Pakistani official noted that the country's Parliament Speaker Fehmida Mirza will visit Iran on February 14 to discuss issues of mutual interests as well as regional and international developments with Iranian officials.
