Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani met with visiting Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madni here on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on the issues of mutual interest as well regional questions including Palestine and Syria and most importantly the major developments in the World of Islam.


OIC chief arrived in Tehran late Tuesday to hold talks with several senior Iranian officials.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is an influential member of the OIC.
