Berlin, Jan 31, IRNA Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Munich, Germany on Friday to attend the 50th Munich Security Conference.
The conference is scheduled to open Friday evening with participation of 20 heads of state and 50 ministers of defense and foreign affairs.
German President Joachim Gauck is to address the opening session.
Iran?s nuclear program and Syrian crisis are two main issues to be discussed during the Conference, according to the chairman of the meeting Wolfgang Ischinger.
He said that the Conference will include an specialized meeting on the Geneva Deal struck between Iran and the P5+1 on November 24 with participation of Iranian foreign minister and his Swedish counterpart Carl Bildt.
He said that negotiations are underway for representatives from the US and the European Union to join the meeting slated for Sunday February 2.
Foreign Minister Zarif is scheduled to address the conference and hold separate meetings with a number of his counterparts from different countries, including German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier as well as some international figures taking part in the meeting during his stay in Munich.
