Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri stressed the need to increase the volume of trade with Turkey to dlrs 30 billion in 2015.
He made the remark here Wednesday morning in a joint press conference with the visiting Turkish Prime Minister Recep Teyyip Erdogan who arrived here on Tuesday for a two-day official visit at the head of a ranking delegation.
Jahangiri described Tehran-Ankara relations as very good and brotherly, stressing that mutual cooperation is improving.
The Iranian official also said the two countries have inked several economic agreements, adding that the outlines of a preferential trade agreement have devises and will be inked soon.
He added that Iran and Turkey have also reached agreements on gas exports.
Jahangiri further hoped that the visit of the Turkish premier to Tehran would trigger further relations in political, cultural and economic areas between the two nations.
