
Director General of Iran?s Transportation and Terminals Organization for transit and border terminals affairs Mohammad Javad Atrchian said the figure showed a 6.2 percent increase compared to the corresponding period last year.
Atrchian underlined that some 96 percent of the commodities were transited via roads and the rest via railroads.
Imam port ranked first in terms of transiting the commodities followed by Bandar Abas, Lotf Abad and Sarakhs ports respectively, he added.
