Ankara, Dec 30, IRNA � As many as 1,118,098 Iranian tourists visited Turkey between January and November 2013, a figure stood at 1,121,819 in the corresponding period in 2012.
In November 2013, 28.89 percent increase was observed in number of tourists visiting Turkey compared to that of the single month last year. A total of 85,447 Iranians visited the country in November 2012.

The statistics released by Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Monday shows that in November 2013, over 1,709,479 foreign tourists, about five percent of whom Iranians, visited Turkey.

Meanwhile, Iranians stood 7th in the list of tourists visiting Turkey in the 2011?s first 11 months. The tourists were from Germany, Russia, the UK, Georgia, Bulgaria and the Netherlands.
