Tehran, Dec 24, IRNA - Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said here on Tuesday that inspectors of the UN nuclear watchdog are to inspect the Gachin uranium mine in Bandar Abbas, in southern Iran in a near future.
Talking to reporters on the sideline of his visit to Masih Daneshvari Hospital in northern Tehran, Salehi underlined that no exact time has, so far, been fixed for the inspection but it would take place in a near future

The agreement signed by AEOI and IAEA allows the inspectors of the UN nuclear agency to voluntarily visit Arak heavy water plant in central Iran and Gachin mine in Bandar Abbas, Salehi added.

The inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency have recently visited Arak heavy water facilities, he said.
