TEHRAN (FNA)- The Free Syrian Army (FSA) plans to form a new front against the Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists in Syria, sources revealed.The FSA intends to form the Syrias Revolutionaries Front to fight against the Al-Qaeda terrorists, media sources said on Sunday.
Also during the last 24 hours in Syria, the Syrian army units won back control over several districts in the strategic city of Adra Al-Amalieh in Reef (countryside of) Damascus.
FNA dispatches said the army has pushed back terrorists in Bana Al-Mersides, Eighth Al-Toseh and Ninth Al-Toseh districts in Adra Al-Amalieh.
The Syrian army launched vast surprise operations to regain control over Adra Al-Amalieh after the militants beheaded scores of civilians in the town a few days ago.
Arab media sources disclosed on Sunday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has revealed that some senior Iraqi government officials have asked him to open its borders to allow extremist groups to commute to Iraq.
Some Iraqi leaders who play a role in Iraqs political process have called on the Syrian president to leave open its borders to allow the extremist Jihadis to enter Iraq via Syria, Baghdad-based Al-Sabah newspaper quoted media sources as saying.
"President Assad has reiterated that the Syrian government has recorded voices of the Iraqi officials who have asked for his assistance to harm Iraqs political tranquility," the newspaper reported.
The Syrian army regained control of the Baghdad bridge located on Damascus-Homs International Highway in Reef (countryside of) Damascus on Sunday.
The army units pushed back the terrorists from the vicinity of Baghdad bridge near Adra al-Balad in Damascus countryside. The armed rebels had earlier raided and won control of the Baghdad bridge and sealed all the paths leading to the region.
Also on Sunday, the Syrian army purged terrorists from two important towns in Deir Ezzur in Eastern Syria after killing a large number of militants in heavy clashes.
The army units assisted by the Syrian national defense forces repelled terrorists from Tal Al-Azaeh and Ayyash in Deir Ezzur in a fierce battle and took back control over the two towns.
The army killed tens of militants in Ayyash while a heavy battle is still underway in Al-Mattar Al-Qadim and Al-Haviqeh districts in the second day clashes.
The Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists killed commander of an armed rebel group affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Reef (countryside of) Aleppo in Northwestern Syria on Sunday.
Hesam Al-Basha, ringleader of the Martyrs of Idlib Battalion was killed in Maar Tamsarin town by ISIL and transferred to Hazano, an important ISIL camp in Reef Idlib.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the Syrian army and the people.
Tens of thousands of people have been killed after some protest rallies turned into armed clashes.
The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
