TEHRAN (FNA)- The first phase of Mansouri oil field will come online in the near future, managing director of the Petroleum Engineering And Development Company (PEDEC) Abdolreza Haji Hosseinnejad said.


Visiting the oil field, Hosseinnejad said that the first phase of Manouri oil field had made progress by 98. 33 percent predicting it will come online before the end of current Iranian calendar year on 21st March 2014.

Desalting unit is the only unit of the phase yet to be completed. Up to now it has made progress by 95.97 percent.

Development of the first phase of Mansouri oil field started 10 years ago. The project could materialize its production targets in 2007 with production of 100 thousand barrels per day.

Mansouri oil field is Located in Khusestan Province 60 km north of Persian Gulf shore.
