A US assassination drone strike has killed several people at a wedding party in southern Yemen, tribal sources said.
The US unmanned aircraft targeted Qaifa district near the town of Rada'a in the al-Bayda governorate on Thursday, the sources added.
Several others were also wounded in the attack. There were no reports on the exact casualty figures.
The United States has launched numerous drone attacks in Yemen that have killed many innocent civilians over the past few years.
Washington claims that its airstrikes target militants, but local sources say civilians have been the main victims of the non-UN-sanctioned airstrikes.
On Monday, three people were killed after a US drone targeted a car in al-Qattan district in eastern province of Hadhramaut.
On November 19, three people were killed in a similar attack in Hadhramaut. The attack took place in Ghail Bawazeer area, situated some 45 kilometers (30 miles), from the provincial capital, Mukalla.
On November 7, five people were also killed in another US drone strike in the town of al-Mahfad in the southern province of Abyan.
The US has come under fire for increasing its drone attacks in Yemen. Yemenis have held many demonstrations to condemn the United States violations of their national sovereignty.
