TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Minister Communication and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi stressed expansion of the further mutua cooperation with Turkey on telecommunications areas.
"Considering the two countries' willingness for the further expansion of bilateral ties between Iran and Turkey, we will improve our cooperation in communications and telecommunications as well as political and trade areas," Vaezi said in a meeting with Turkish ambassador to Iran Umit Yardim.

Vaezi further added Iran plans to increase data transfer with neighboring states and will considerably increase the capacity by next year.

Umit Yardim, for his part, said the two countries have a massive landscape for mutual cooperation in all fields.
