Tehran, Dec 4, IRNA � An Iranian photographer bagged the gold medal of Slovenia photography festival for taking a photo from unique bird species exposed to extinction.
The photography of Loghman Rahimi dubbed �mish morgh� managed to win the medal of the nature between the sky and earth section of the festival.


He was honored for his special attention to the environment and drawing attention of the public to a common need to protect the environment.

The rare species of the bird called ?Chirak? in local language or ?mish morgh? lives at a habitat in Bukan, West Azarbaijan province, where the photographer lives.

Meanwhile, photographers from 40 countries participated in the festival.
