TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bigeli said Iran and Turkey have reached a five-article dealon Syria.Protecting unity and territorial integrity of Syria, ending civil war and establishing ceasefire in the country as well as providing facilities for Syrian refugees' return to their homeland are some items of the agreement, Bikdeli told Turkish Star Daily.
He added transfer of human aid to Syrians, finding peaceful solution to Syria, avoiding any military operations in the country and fighting terrorist operations are other terms of agreement between Iran and Turkey.
The agreement was concluded following the recent trip of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to Tehran.
Elsewhere, he referred to Iran-Turkey bilateral intelligence cooperation and said, "The two countries' intelligence cooperation could be important not only for the two countries but also for the region and the world's security."
Tehran and Ankara could work on intelligence areas as many other countries in the world, he said, adding "No one can claim that there are weak or dark points in our cooperation in this area."
Bikdeli also added Turkish Energy Minister Mehmet Zafer Caglayan would visit Iran on January 15-16.
