Oil revenues realized in recent months

TEHRAN (FNA)- Oil exports and revenues in recent months have been realized in accordance to the current year budget targets, oil ministry officials said.

Esmayeel Jalili, a member of the Planning, Budget and Auditing Committee of the parliament, said in an interview with Shana that this has been mainly due to the oil ministrys success in better use of idle capacities in the international arena.

He added that the oil ministrys efforts for diversification of markets and improving communications with big world companies have created some opportunities for realization of oil revenues planned in budget law.

Referring to the impact of sanctions on oil revenues, he said: despite falling oil revenues in general, in recent months the government has been able to earn the oil revenues anticipated in budget law.

Head of Planning, Budget and Auditing Committee told Shana earlier that during the first seven months of current year oil revenues had realized just by 44.6 percent. Irans fiscal year begins 21st March of each year.
