Belgrade, Nov 26, IRNA Head of Albanias State News Agency Gezim Podgorica welcomed media cooperation with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).Podgorica made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Tehran Abdolmajid Mozaffari.
The Iranian ambassador pointed to the important duty of news agencies to accurately provide the people with information by utilizing independent and impartial news sources, and called for direct cooperation between official news agencies of Iran and Albania.
Mozaffari explained about activities of IRNA, specially extraterritorial activities, and said, Friendly and historical relations between Iran and Albania necessitates the official news agencies to play a more active role in strengthening of interactions among people and increase the peoples familiarization towards each other.
The head of the Albanian news agency, for his part, pointed to important duty of news agencies for accurately disseminating information to people by utilizing.
