Russian President Vladimir Putinsaid he does not plan to visit Iran in the near future, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakovsaid. "No such visits are planned before the end of this year.
They are not planned at the beginning of next year, either," Ushakov told a briefing on Thursday.
Ushakov recalled that Putin has recently had a constructive phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Hasan Ruhani.
The conversation followed the meeting between the two presidents at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, Ushakov said.
