Tehran, Nov 13, IRNA Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said there has been mixed news about the missing Iranian citizen in the United Arab Emirates.She was referring to an Iranian citizen named Yazdanpanah who has been missing in the UAE for a couple of months.
Afkham said upon receiving the news, Iranian Foreign Ministry sent an official note to the Foreign Ministry of the UAE and asked for investigating the issue and giving news about the fate of the missing person.
In a meeting with the ambassador of the UAE in Tehran, he was informed about the concern of Islamic Republic of Iran on the fate of Yazdanpanah, and Iranian foreign ministry keeps following up the whereabouts of the missing person, said the spokespersonAny news which attributes his missing or murder to Iran is ridiculous and a sheer lie, added Ms. Afkham.
