Tehran, Nov 6, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in a message on Tuesday condoled the Iranian nation on the passing away of Habibollah Asgarowladi, one of the companions of the founder of Islamic Republic late Imam Khomeini.
The message said that Asgarowladi during his fully blessed life was at the service of Islam and establishment of Islamic Republic. He had been very active to the end of his life, trying to serve the causes of the Islamic Revolution, it added.

Ayatollah Khamenei said during the pre-revolution era and in the course of the Iranian nation and clergymens anti-Shah struggle, Asgarowladi always stood by the late Imams side and lanuguished for many years at the prisons of the former regime.

After triumph of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and establishment of the Islamic Republic, he continued rendering services to people and the Islamic system of government, the message said.

The Supreme Leader wished divine blessing for Asgarowladi and patience for his noble friends and family.
