Tehran, Nov 3, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani introduced Nasrollah Sajjadi to Majlis as his nominee for the post of minister of sports and youth affairs.Zargham Sadeqi, a lawmaker read out the Presidents letter of introduction to Majlis on Sunday.
Next Sunday, Sadeqi said, the lawmakers will vote for or against the proposed minister.
Sajjadi had formerly been appointed as deputy caretaker of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Sajjadi, who is now associate professor at faculty of physical education and sport sciences of Tehran University, has already held the posts as head of Irans football federation, secretary general of National Olympic Committee and member of Olympic Council of Asia.
