Tehran, Nov 3, IRNA -- Iranian and Greek diplomats underlined the need for the further expansion of bilateral ties and mutual cooperation.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and Greek Foreign Ministrys Director General for Political Affairs Parasekeh Dimitrius Violus met in Tehran on Saturday.
During the meeting, Takht-e Ravanchi and Dimitrius Violus discussed the economic, parliamentary and cultural issues.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister pointed to the current status of Iran-Greece relations, and said, Iran as one of the suppliers of the energy to the Europe, specially in the field of oil and gas, is ready to expand ties with Greece.
The Greek diplomat, for his part, pointed to Iran-Greece relations, and said, Greece as a country with age-old relations with Iran, is willing to enhance ties with Iran.
