Speaking upon his arrival in Tehran from China on Friday, Larijani pointed to the propaganda campaign by some countries against Irans ongoing nuclear talks with six countries but noted that China will not be swayed by such hype.
The representatives of Iran and the permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany wrapped up expert-level negotiations at the United Nations office in the Austrian capital, Vienna, on Thursday.
Iran and the six world powers held two days of negotiations over Tehrans nuclear energy program in Geneva, Switzerland, on October 15-16. The two sides agreed to have expert-level talks before meeting again in the Swiss city on November 7-8.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Larijani expressed satisfaction with the level of the ties between Iran and China, adding, We will continue this approach. Moreover, the ties between Iran and China are consolidated and will not be influenced by political issues.
The Iranian Majlis speaker noted that Tehran and Beijing are resolved to promote their bilateral relations to a new level.
Larijani traveled to Beijing on Tuesday on an official visit to discuss the promotion of parliamentary, political, economic and cultural ties between Iran and China during his meetings with high-ranking Chinese authorities.
In his remarks back in Tehran, Larijani called for serious steps to expand the two countries tourism ties by facilitating visa issuance. He called on Beijing to help with the process.
He also pointed to the high demand in the Chinese market for Iranian products and underlined the need for using such potential.
