Vienna, Oct 28, IRNA Deputy Foreign Minister and member of Iran negotiating team, Abbass Araqchi, said on Monday that talks with the IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano was good and constructive.
Araqchi told reporters that his colleagues will shortly start talks with the IAEA on Irans new proposals about the structured plan to resolve the outstanding issues with the agency.
Diplomats in Vienna said that negotiations between Araqchi and Amano are of high importance.
Iran and the UN nuclear agency have developed a dispute about inspection to Parchin military site with the agency asking for access.
But, Iran says the agency has carried inspection and taken environmental samples from the site in line with Modality plan Iran signed with the agency under former director-general Mohamed ElBaradei in 2009 and got verification from the agency about non-diversion of Iranian nuclear program from the civilian path.
Iran required the agency to sign a structured plan to resolve the outstanding issues and give guarantee that it will not repeat the request forever.
